We’re Nieilly, a Brazilian lawyer specializing in immigration law, and Jason, a Belgian marketer. In 2021, we were looking to buy a property in Europe. But the prices were outrageous, interest rates depressing, and the options... uninspiring.

We paid a deposit of €14,000 and are now paying €500/month directly to the developer — no bank, no interest. It’s a simple, flexible payment plan.
Once delivered, we expect to sell it for 1.5 to 2 times our purchase price, thanks to rising demand and government-led development in Alagoas.
But here’s the kicker: we're also earning on the currency appreciation. Today, €1 = R$6.21. If the exchange rate improves to €1 = R$5, a property worth R$621,000 would go from costing €100,000 to €124,000 — even without any increase in the local value. But given the growth here, it’s much more likely that the property will be worth R$800,000 in a few years — translating to €160,000. That’s a massive compounded return, both from real estate appreciation and currency gains.
